General Membership, Eligibility, Modifications & Conflicts
Iconec allows members to rent or purchase jewellery through tiered membership plans. Your plan determines your monthly Membership Fee and how many products you may rent at a time.
Only adults over 18 may become members. If a member allows another individual to use a product, that member remains fully responsible for all use and legal liability.
Iconec may modify these Terms, or modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
Account Registration, Security, Membership Waitlist & Discretion
To use most service features, including rentals and purchases, you must maintain an active membership account with accurate and up-to-date personal and payment information.
You are responsible for all activity under your account and must safeguard your credentials and notify Iconec of unauthorized access.
Membership availability may be limited. Iconec may revoke, cancel, deny, or waitlist applications at its discretion and may limit service availability by region or user.
Data Collection and Privacy
Iconec collects account, billing, shipping, payment, and support-related information to provide services, process transactions, and prevent fraud.
For identity verification, data may be collected and processed through partners including Stripe and Sumsub, in accordance with consent and applicable law.
Personal data is collected directly from users for contractual, operational, and compliance purposes.
Payment Methods, Card-on-File Authorization & Security Deposit
Members must maintain a valid approved credit card. Iconec may place authorization holds and charge fees due under these Terms, including membership, tax, damage, and purchase fees.
Membership fees recur every 30 days for monthly plans, or every 360 days for annual plans. Fees may change with notice.
Purchase Credit may accrue from membership fees and may only be applied to eligible product purchases under the stated conditions.
Modifications to Service and Prices
Product prices and service terms may change without notice.
Iconec may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service and is not liable for resulting effects from such changes.
Membership Pricing, Plan Changes, Non-Returnable Products, Delinquency & Collections
Published plans include Single Monthly (AED 299), Stack Monthly (AED 599), Single Yearly (AED 3588), and Stack Yearly (AED 7188).
Upgrade and downgrade requests are submitted through the app and follow proration, timing, and product-return rules.
If products are non-returnable due to loss, theft, destruction, or excessive damage, applicable purchase fees may be charged. Delinquent accounts may be suspended, collected, or cancelled.
Rental Period, Care, Authenticity & Variations
Subject to compliance with these Terms, rental periods are generally 30 days per product cycle.
Members must exercise care and may be liable for loss or damage beyond reasonable wear and tear, including unauthorized modifications.
Product appearance may vary from images and may change over time with normal use.
Shipping, Delivery, Returns & Exchanges
Shipping providers and methods are determined by Iconec. Members are responsible for products delivered to their listed address.
Returns must follow Iconec return workflows and approved packaging/label instructions to reduce loss and damage risk.
Use of non-approved return methods may transfer liability for shipping-related issues to the member.
Cancellation
Members may request immediate cancellation (forfeiting accrued credits) or end-of-term cancellation through the app.
Cancellation is not final until all rented products are returned and received by Iconec. Ongoing charges may apply until return is complete.
Data deletion and legal/financial record retention are handled under applicable UAE data protection and compliance requirements.
Content, Intellectual Property & License
Iconec content is provided as available and may be updated or corrected without prior notice.
All service content and associated marks are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial service use.
Dispute Resolution, Informal Process & Arbitration
Users agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution with Iconec before formal proceedings.
Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration, subject to limited exceptions including certain small-claims and IP-related claims.
Warranties, Liability, Use Restrictions & Indemnification
Services and products are provided on an 'as is' basis, except where limited warranties are expressly stated.
Iconec disclaims broad categories of implied warranties and limits liability to the extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify Iconec for claims arising from use of services in violation of these Terms.
Governing Law, Venue, Entire Agreement, Severability & Assignment
These Terms are governed by UAE law, with venue in Dubai where court proceedings are required.
If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.
Iconec may assign these Terms; members may not assign rights or obligations without authorization.
UAE-Specific Disclosures, VAT, Verification & Charge Authorization
Iconec may request identity documentation and proof-of-delivery/return acknowledgements for fraud prevention, KYC, and insurance processes.
Applicable UAE VAT may be charged on relevant fees and itemized accordingly.
Members authorize card-on-file storage, preauthorizations, and charges for amounts due under these Terms.
No Waiver & Survival
Failure to enforce a provision at one time does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Provisions that by nature survive termination remain effective after cancellation, including fee, liability, IP, and dispute clauses.
Contact & Notices
Notices may be delivered through the app, email, or courier to addresses on file.
Electronic communications satisfy writing requirements where legally permitted.
